In partnership with Aviation Australia (RTO 30770), you will be working with the Flight Options Pilot Academy team of experienced instructors – you will gain your Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) with instructors who have extensive flying experience and aviation industry knowledge to provide the most relevant and up-to-date instruction.

Recognition Of Prior Learning
Aviation Australia offers an opportunity for recognition of prior learning (RPL) to be assessed. RPL may include holders of a CASA Recreational Pilots Licence, CASA Private Pilots Licence and/or a foreign pilots licence or those that have previous studies, qualifications and experience.

General training hours* are between 8.00am to 4.15pm, however these times may vary based on available flying hours and briefing hours.
*flight lesson/briefings hours and locations may vary (may be conducted at various aerodromes that may require travel – such as Gympie)
Study Modes
The course duration is approximately 50 weeks (with a minimum 20 hour per week face to face study commitment).
There are theory/self-study training components contained in this course. Students require access to a computer with a reliable internet connection. Students must be dedicated and committed to achieving the qualification by completing self-study for a minimum of 5 hours per week (in addition to face to face training). If a student fails to meet each study period requirements, they may be unable to progress to the next study period.
